Research Targets Two Diseases in Soybeans

Two of the most threatening diseases to soybean crops are under scrutiny at South Dakota State University, and researchers hope to offer farmers ways to manage them.
Part of developing a strategy is understanding how disease-causing organisms interact with each other and whether soil factors have any effect on the interaction.
The work is important for farmers worried about losing yield to soybean diseases, said Adam Kask, market development and research director for South Dakota Soybean.
