“They don’t call it Sudden Death Syndrome because it’s easy to spot.  SDS is a fungal disease that can develop in the presence of the soybean cyst nematode (SCN). Young plants may show symptoms, but the most pronounced symptoms appear after flowering. So how do spot the warning signs of this disease? Comparing affected plants with healthy plants from the same field can be effective guide for future scouting.”
